Overview
Monday - Friday 0900-1700
We provide evidence-based training and support to careers and a range of agencies caring for children and young people who have additional complex health needs within the community. Our service is available for all children and young people registered with a GP in Nottingham City or Nottinghamshire County.
Our team is made up of registered paediatric and learning disability nurses who have a range of experience caring for children and young people within hospital and community settings.
We recognise that the children and young people we care for already have excellent care packages in place. We work alongside the community nursing team and other agencies, such as specialist nurses and therapy teams, to enhance the service that families receive.
Our aim is to ensure that children and young people with additional healthcare needs receive safe and effective care, wherever they are.
