The Trailblazers of Autism-Friendly Events – Putting the Community at the Heart of It All!
The A World UK is a non-profit organisation leading the way in autism-friendly events, ensuring autistic individuals of all ages can enjoy inclusive experiences. Throughout the year we exclusively hire popular UK venues such as Gulliver’s World, Blackpool Zoo, Eureka!, and more, creating safe and welcoming environments tailored to sensory needs. Our events feature reduced crowds, quiet spaces, and a fully supportive atmosphere, making them enjoyable for the whole family.
Autism is a lifelong condition, and so is our support. There is no age limit on who can access our events or funded support—we are here for autistic individuals at every stage of life.
As part of our commitment to the autistic community, our members can apply for a funded holiday in Blackpool, giving families the opportunity to take a much-needed break in an autism-friendly setting.
To help sustain our work, we currently operate 33 community stores across England, including three in the Midlands. These stores raise vital funds and provide ample volunteering opportunities for those looking to support our mission.

Our head office is based in Salford, Greater Manchester. However, the support we offer is located in a variety of venues across England.
Our funded holiday programme is based in Blackpool, Marton Mere, providing families with autism-friendly breaks.
We organise autism-friendly events throughout the year at a variety of venues across England. These include exclusive hires of Gulliver’s World, Blackpool Zoo, Eureka!, and more, ensuring a fully inclusive and welcoming experience for autistic individuals and their families.

Costs
Ticket prices vary depending on each event, but we largely subsidise costs to ensure our events remain as affordable and accessible as possible for the autistic community.
To apply for a funded holiday, families must be a member of The A World UK. Membership starts from £25 for a family of four. If approved for a funded holiday, families are required to pay a £100 deposit, which is refunded upon attendance.

Referral
We are a non-profit organisation supporting the autistic community. Our support does not an age limit, we also welcome whole family participation with parents and siblings encouraged to attend our events too.
Our support is currently available to anyone living within the North of England and Midlands, we do have a criteria of who is able to apply for memberships which will allow people to apply for funded holidays, more information can be found on our website on the areas we currently support, www.theaworlduk.com/areas-we-support however, we are continuously expanding the areas we support.
