BEH - Common Assessment Framework (CAF)

What is the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and when should a CAF be raised?

The CAF is a simple step by step tool that helps professionals assess and support children, young people and families in a coordinated way. If concerns are identified about a child or young person, a CAF should be initiated, with appropriate consent. The CAF toolkit and further information can be accessed here.
