In Nottingham City, Summer Holidays run from Thursday 28th July until Friday 2nd September. The school term starts on Monday 5nd September.
Support is available for FREE Fun and Food this Summer ‐ both for families receiving Free School Meals and families in receipt of council tax support.
Children can enjoy free activities and food at holiday clubs across the city.
Libraries Summer Holiday Fun!
Join us in August for lots of different activities across our libraries. There’s something for everyone ‐ fun and magic with Geoffrey Jumper, puppetry theatre, comic masterclass, crafts, LEGO and more…
At our Holiday Fun sessions, you can learn to bake Biscuits, Bread, Scones, Cup Cakes and Mini Pizzas.
FREE Cool Science workshops are back for more science fun at Green’s Windmill! Led by retired physics teacher Cool Pete experiment with all manner of science based fun with an educational twist!
Need some entertainment during the school holidays? We have lots of fun activities on offer across our Active Nottingham leisure centres.
The Adventure Service activities this summer include: Archery, Climbing & High Ropes, Boat Hire and Orienteering
The Play and Youth Service are offering a number of sessions across the city.
Lakeside activities this Summer include: the Luminarium, Soundscape Summer School and Theatre and Puppetry Summer School
