Summer is here!
As we are still adjusting to a new normal and as lock down measures ease, we have put together some summer activities that you and your family can enjoy at home and out and about in a safe way.
In Nottingham City, School Summer Holidays run from Wednesday 28th of July to Friday 27th August (Monday 30th August is Bank Holiday and Tuesday 31st August is an Inset day). Schools start on Wednesday 1st September.
All activities from each timetable can also be found on the search above as separate entries. You can look for activities close to you by inserting your postcode on the search box above. The website will list sessions which are closer to your address.
Is your child entitled to Free School Meals? If so, check out our FREE Fun and Food offer this Summer!
Lots of Holiday Activity Clubs will be providing FREE Fun and Food throughout the Summer holidays - simply find a session near you and join in the fun!
The Play and Youth Service are offering a number of sessions across the city.
At our Summer Holiday Fun sessions, you can learn to bake Biscuits, Cheese Straws, Bread, Fruity Cupcakes and Mini Pizzas. You can also see how flour is made, climb the mill and experiment like a scientist.
No need to be bored at home, our new virtual timetable is full of ideas and resources for things to do at home. Do not forget to comeback as new activities are added every week!
Are you ready to be a Wild World Hero?
Pack your bags, as from the 10th July, you can join the Wild World Heroes for the Summer Reading Challenge and discover how you can make a difference to the environment too.
