Equal relationships, free from abuse
Equation is a Nottingham-based specialist charity that works with the whole community to reduce the impact of domestic abuse, sexual violence and gender inequality.
Equation delivers education to the whole community to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence, promote gender equality and raise aspirations for healthy relationships. Equation also provides practical tools and guidance to support the well-being and safety needs of survivors.
The charity brings together a range of voluntary and statutory organisations and individuals to work on tackling issues related to domestic abuse throughout Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Equation provides healthy relationships education and domestic abuse prevention work for children and young people, domestic abuse training, and a range of resources promoting domestic abuse prevention, domestic abuse awareness and safety.
Education also provides the local Domestic Abuse Service for Men, a practical advice and support service to men who are experiencing domestic abuse.
