Other notes
  • Are you physically inactive?
  • Do you consider yourself to be overweight, unfit and lack the motivation and confidence to start a physical activity alone?
  • Are you experiencing low mood, apathy, anxiety, sadness, and social withdrawal?

We can work with you to develop your self - care; the importance of taking care of yourself every day.

Do you want to learn to exercise regularly to stay healthy, boosting your mood, reducing their stress and anxiety, keeping fit, happy, and resilient?

Our parents have told us that their fitness, confidence, and self-esteem are in need of a boost.

During the Pandemic, these mental health issues, physical inactivity, weight gain and lack of motivation increased, so these women have now asked for online, indoor and outdoor, exercise programmes where their achievements can be monitored, where they can exercise safely, with support around their technique with a qualified instructor, experienced in coaching women who experience long term inactivity, working at their pace. We have put a COVID Risk Assessment in place which covers social distancing, sanitizing, self-isolating and symptoms. Participants will be provided with a certificate of completion at the end of each course. A short confidential pre and post programme questionnaire designed to identify whether it is safe for individuals to take part in physical activity (including COVID) is completed. It is also needed to get a perspective for developing exercise and wellbeing activities for prospective participants. For some people this type of activity might be inappropriate and such persons should seek medical advice before the commencement of such activities. This will also give our qualified instructor an understanding of individual goals, abilities, and health risks at the beginning of each course. The post programme questionnaire will document the achievements at the end of the course.
