Blue Mountain Women’s Association, Radford
A self help group that aims to help women to make informed decisions about their health and well-being (including gynaecological health and the menopause). The group has some resources relating to African and Caribbean women's history.
Who is this service for?
BAMER women, all welcome. For women's health issues and history, in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
All women group to raise awareness on women's health, for example menopause and mental health. We also run a project called Hidden History of the Caribbean community on black presence in Nottingham from 1700's to present day, all welcome to share in this project with Nottingham archive. We also run a sewing and craft group, bring your own craft and work on it together while supporting each other with mental health and menopause,
