Forest Recreation Ground

Well known to many visitors as the site of the annual Nottingham Goose Fair, the Forest has undergone a £5.2m Lottery restoration. In addition to hosting many other popular events, the Forest Recreation Ground also has a variety of recreation facilities which include a café, public toilets, play areas, multi activity pitches, football pitches, an outdoor gym and leisure walks.

Friends Group

The Forest Recreation Ground has an active friends group who are involved with bulb and flower plantings, collecting user data, and organising the annual Inclosure Act Walk.  If you are interested in becoming a 'friend' of the Forest Recreation Ground please call the Parks and Open Spaces Team on 0115 915 2733.
