Active Play - Minver Crescent Sports Centre - Small Steps Big Changes (SSBC)
Delivered by Home-Start Nottingham on behalf of Small Steps Big Changes.
A ‘stay and play’ session for your little one to enjoy getting active, learn new skills and benefit from making friends with other children around the same age.
Children benefit from being active every day – as well as health benefits, active play can also help children to develop coordination and movement skills, build confidence and happiness, and learn about teamwork and cooperation.
"Active play is a lovely session that is run on a Saturday. Usually on a Saturday there isn’t much on for children but this is a free session with lovely staff and volunteers. They also provide play workers so my older children can attend too. This is great as all my children get to play together with the activities provided. They are also running around for two hours. It is brilliant as we can attend as a family."
