Castle Road
Secondary Pathways
Secondary Pathways is our small group provision for students in KS3 and 4 (Years 7 -11) who are unable to attend their own schools due to anxiety–related reasons – but who are able to work outside of their homes.
NEST
NEST is a full-time educational 50 place provision for asylum seeker and refugee young people, aged 15-19 years. The curriculum selected for the students is based on a comprehensive initial assessment and tailored to their individual learning needs;
Sherwood Education Centre
Primary Pathways
Primary Pathways is based at Sherwood Education Centre and provides small group education for primary aged pupils (Key stages 1 and 2) with medical and anxiety-related needs, who find it challenging to attend their mainstream school. Occasionally, KS 3 pupils may be admitted to Primary Pathways due to their very specific needs
The Lookout Education
The Lookout Adolescent Unit is a 32 bed inpatient facility for young people aged 12 - 18 years old. These young people are experiencing mental health difficulties that can no longer be managed in the community. This may include eating disorders or difficulties, mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Children’s Hospital School
The Children's Hospital School serves all paediatric wards of the 150+ bed Children's Hospital at QMC. The CHS supports 7 main groups on 12 wards of the Children's Hospital, each with discrete needs.
