Age Friendly Nottinghamshire
Helping make Nottinghamshire a better place in which to live.
Age Friendly Nottinghamshire is a NCC project focusing on helping communities come together to act on shared visions, enhancing neighbourhoods and overcoming concerns. The Neighbourhood coordinators encourage residents to take action on the things they care about most.
If you have a great idea about what is needed to make your neighbourhood a better place we would love to hear it. We are a part of a growing network offering opportunities, peer support and others who may like your idea.
Residents have been helped to set up a whole range of new groups, projects and activities including; Breakfast/Lunch clubs, Coffee groups, Reminiscing groups, Good Neighbour Schemes, Litter picks, Dog walkers groups and many more.
If you have a passion or an idea you would like to discuss give us a call.
