The Dyslexia Association

The Dyslexia Association runs a free, confidential Helpline service that provides information and advice about dyslexia and related subjects. There is no charge other than the cost of a standard rate telephone call.

We advise people who have dyslexia and others who work with them or support them.

We will tell you about our paid-for services if these are appropriate for your needs, but we are also very happy to support people who do not use those services.

Our Helpline is open:

  • Monday - closed
  • Tuesday - Friday 09:30am - 12:30pm

Notes

The Dyslexia Association is a registered charity (charity number 1082345), which was established in 1971.

We provide support and services for dyslexic children and adults of all ages, their parents/families, educators, employers and the wider community. Our head office is in Nottingham and we provide services primarily across the East Midlands (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire) and neighbouring counties.

Enriching the lives of people who have dyslexia is at the heart of our charity.  We enable dyslexic children and adults of all ages and backgrounds and help them to live happy, productive lives and reach their full potential.

Our team of dedicated, caring individuals provide professional advice, screening, assessment, training and tuition as appropriate because we know one size does not fit all.  Each person is different and knowing this is what makes the difference.  We help you understand your strengths and find the solutions to whatever challenges you may face.

If you are dyslexic, or think you might be dyslexic, or if you are concerned about another person, we can help
