JRH Support - Homecare, Supported Living & Outreach

We're a friendly family company and have been providing Care at Home, Supported Living and Outreach support services in Nottingham since 2003

We're dedicated to improving the quality of life of all the people we support, and to provide a friendly, respectful, person-centred service that treats everyone as an individual and helps them to remain as independent as possible, and to get as much out of life as possible.

We have a fantastic staff team who are really committed to providing the best possible support to all users of our services, and who have the necessary sensitivity, skills and experience to ensure they're able to do this.

We have a Care at Home service, an Outreach service and a Supported Living service, and we thrive on enabling people to develop their skills and confidence to live as independently as possible.

Why JRH Support?

We understand that it can be pretty daunting trying to find good quality care and support for yourself or for someone you know, but we're very confident that the support services we provide are of the highest quality, and we're really proud of what people say about us.

We are approved care and support providers for both Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council, and when you choose us you can be assured of the following high standards:

Training

All of our staff are well trained, and are required to demonstrate high levels of knowledge, skills and competence prior to supporting people.

All staff complete a comprehensive induction course which includes the Care Certificate. Following this they complete other specialist training and enrol on the Diploma in Health & Social Care.

Safety

All of our staff undergo an intensive screening process prior to employment, including a criminal records check, a check with the Independent Safeguarding Authority and two satisfactory references from previous employers.

Person-Centred Support

We are committed to ensuring that all support we provide is person-centred and outcome focused. This means that service users are always at the heart of decisions about the design and delivery of their support, and are supported to identify and reach goals that are important to them.

We make sure service users only have two or three support workers at most who will support them. This ensures individuals have the chance to really get to know their support workers, and also of course that the support workers get to know the people they are supporting and the things that are important to them.

Outcomes Based Support

We strongly believe in people being in control of their support, and supporting them to identify outcomes that are important to them and are both achievable and measurable. This can help develop basic life skills, confidence and independence, and ensure people are able to reach their full potential.

We've developed an outcomes tool that is really user friendly and supports people to achieve the things they want to achieve, and to become more independent and have more control of their lives.

'Whatever You Need' Approach

We like to think that we can support you with anything, so don't be afraid to ask. We take a "whatever you need" approach towards supporting people, and we're always willing to go above and beyond to make sure you're happy.

Quality Monitoring

We take quality very seriously, and that's why we regularly seek feedback from the people we support and those close to them. We believe in creating an environment of constant improvement, where support is closely monitored to ensure service users are satisfied with the services they receive.

Reliability

One of the great comforts with using us is that we pride ourselves on our reliability. We have systems in place to ensure that people are still supported if their support worker rings in sick or is on annual leave. This is something that we know other agencies and individually employed personal assistants (PAs) have particular difficulty with.
