We are proud to say we know we know each and every one of our childminder early educators because we personally train, register, support and inspect them on behalf of Ofsted. They follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, just like nurseries and nursery schools. They ensure children have equal access to fun learning experiences that challenge their knowledge, skills and interests. We believe home-based early education is the best type of childcare for young children because they develop and thrive when cared for in stimulating, nurturing home environments where their needs and security comes first. Early Educators are a great alternative to nurseries, if you prefer your child to feel safe and cherished in a homely childcare setting with small groups of children. Unlike many nurseries, childminder educators offer more flexibility to parents. They often open 7am - 7pm and some even provide weekend and overnight care. Educators ensure your child access outdoor activities such as musical play groups, outdoor parks/woodlands and childminder groups allowing children to regularly socialise with other children. They are definitely not babysitters! We recently received a very positive Ofsted inspection. The full report can be view on our website. Some remarks from the Ofsted inspectors include: “Children form secure attachments with their childminders and appear happy in their care. Premises used for care provide warm and welcoming learning environments.” “Childminders communicate clearly with parents about their children to promote consistency in learning at home. Parents spoken to confirmed that they were very happy with the care provided.”
