Wildlife in the City

Regular conservation sessions are now becoming a permanent fixture across our parks and natural spaces as part of the Wildlife in the City initiative.

If you are passionate about wildlife and would like to help the Park Ranger look after some of our city wildlife sites we have volunteering sessions you may be interested in.

The sessions take place every Wednesday starting at 9.30am and run until 3pm. You can stay for as long or as little as you want to.  Various seasonal practical conservation tasks will be tackled for which you will receive full guidance if you are unsure of the task in hand.

A series of walks and wildlife surveys to compliment these activities are also planned.

Please get in touch with Park Ranger Simon Jenkins about volunteering or details of walks and surveys on 07908 488 722 or simon.jenkins@nottinghamcity.gov.uk
