Rootz Theatre Group 16-21
Rootz theatre group is a safe place for care experienced young people to establish and foster their skills in many aspects of performing arts, whilst building confidence and a support network of like minded peers.
Participants can explore their creativity and deepen their understanding of theatrical roles, such as directors, actors, writers and production teams. The workshops are very relaxed, catered to both beginners and more experienced young artists, and totally free of charge.
Led and facilitated by two local, professional artists, participants gain valuable insight into how to develop their own creative work, with the opportunity to share their talents on stage in a real, working theatre. Participants will also be offered free tickets to shows, backstage tours and industry talks.
