Young Parents Connect at Meadows Children's Centre

What is Young Parents Connect?

Young Parents Connect is a peer support approach to mental health prevention within community settings. It is for young mums and dads up to the age of 25 years and their children. The group offers a weekly themed drop-in session providing a range of relevant & engaging discussions around different topics, activities and guest speakers (Health Visitor, Ways to work etc.). Young Parents Together Groups are run Citywide within Family Hubs.

  • Lunch together to build up friendships and social interaction
  • Weekly quiz – where parents work together to building confidence and knowledge.
  • Activities for parents and children.
